Milwaukee, Wis. — Authorities have identified the man killed in a shooting Monday evening on the 400 block of W. Locust Street as Ulysses Jerome Turner Jr. He was in his 30s.

Police say Turner was discovered with severe injuries when officers arrived at the scene. Despite the efforts of first responders and medics, he was pronounced dead where he was found. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation, and no additional details have been released at this time.
