The crash occurred just past Beecroft Road around 6:47 a.m. Emergency services and traffic crews responded quickly to the scene. Initially, two of the three eastbound lanes were closed, creating heavy congestion for citybound traffic.

Authorities later confirmed that all citybound lanes were temporarily closed, forcing motorists to seek alternative routes. As of the latest update, one citybound lane has reopened, but two remain closed, and traffic is still heavily impacted.

Drivers are being advised to allow extra travel time and to consider using alternate routes, including Pennant Hills Road, Carlingford Road, and Epping Road.

Traffic crews remain on-site working to clear the crash and restore full access to the motorway.
