Francesk Shkambi Obituary-Death News; Howell Man Fatally Shot Outside Restaurant During Lions Watch Party

A Howell man was shot and killed on Sunday night outside a restaurant in Commerce Township, as reported by the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to Prime 7 restaurant at approximately 9:30 p.m. following reports of gunfire during a watch party for a Detroit Lions game.

Upon their arrival, they discovered the victim, 44-year-old Francesk Shkambi, lying on the patio.

Deputies promptly initiated life-saving measures until paramedics from the Commerce Township Fire Department arrived and transported him to a hospital, where he subsequently passed away.

Approximately 20 minutes after the shooting incident, a 65-year-old man from Farmington Hills surrendered to law enforcement. The Fugitive Apprehension Team apprehended him without any complications.

Investigators have recovered what they believe to be the firearm used in the shooting, identified as a stolen 9mm handgun.

The suspect is currently held in the Oakland County Jail. Detectives are anticipated to present the case to prosecutors for evaluation on Tuesday.

Prime 7 communicated via a Facebook post that it would remain closed on Monday due to a “family emergency” and plans to reopen on Tuesday.
