It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Cristy Nguyen, who unexpectedly left us on October 15th. Cristy was a vibrant, beautiful young woman who had just celebrated her 21st birthday on October 9th. She was pursuing her dream of becoming an esthetician at Conestoga College, with plans to graduate next year. Her bright smile and kind spirit touched everyone she met.

Cristy was dearly loved by her mother, brother, and countless friends who will cherish her memory forever. Her sudden departure has left her family overwhelmed and unprepared for the emotional and financial burden of planning her funeral. They wish to honor her life peacefully and with dignity.

While the family does not expect support or gifts, the community’s kindness can make a significant difference during this difficult time. Many who knew Cristy are reaching out to help her family cover funeral expenses through a GoFundMe campaign. Please note that for cultural reasons, they cannot accept donations after her burial.
